Yep, we had to cancel our vacation plans to pay for furnace work in Arizona and then on New Years eve, our dog got sick and this afternoon we had to go and have her put down. She was in a lot of pain and crying continually. Oh well, it may not be a great new year, but at least it is consistent.

We are soooo sorry to hear about Leila. I know you will miss her. We had a wonderful time sharing her with you when we were in Quito.
